Jacqueline’s background is in psychology, education and retail management, with much of her career being focussed on management and staff development in the tourism and hospitality industries. Her executive management roles have included positions with the Traveland Group of Companies, as National Training & Development Manager (Australia & NZ), Harvey World Travel Franchises Pty. Ltd, as Group Human Resources Manager (Australia, NZ & Southern Africa), and Comprehensive Holiday Insurance Pty. Ltd, as Director of International Corporate Development (China). Jacqueline combines practical experience in senior positions with an excellent ability to transfer her skills and insights.
Jacqueline has a long history with the Institute and her work with AIM and Berrico Consultants includes programs such as Developing High Performance Teams, Presentation Skills for the Businessperson, Stress Management, Conflict Management, Managing Workplace Priorities, Career Planning, Managing Diversity, Customer Service, Sales Training, Leadership, Performance Management , Human Resource Management, Creating a Learning Environment & Interpersonal Communication Skills.

Ms. Klauer has consulted and conducted training programs in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the USA, the People's Republic of China, the Middle East, Mauritius and across Southern Africa. She is frequently invited to do Keynote addresses at tourism conferences globally, and has authored six books and an award-winning video-based training product.
She has recently been responsible for the assessment of the corporate training needs of an international franchise organisation, the development of training resources, outsourcing of requirements, and for the delivery of their international “Professional Development Program”.
